I want to show you how to build an affiliate marketing website from start to finish so I'm
going to show you how to build a website how to monetize it how to do keyword research so you
know what to write about and then how to optimize it for SEO I've been doing affiliate and online
marketing for the past seven years I've generated hundreds of thousands of dollars doing so which
allowed me to travel the world and be completely financially free and independent and that is what
I want for you as well I want to show you exactly how it's done as you watch behind my shoulder
step by step now a quick disclaimer this is not a getrich quick scheme there is no way at all
with any way of affiliate or online marketing to make quick money overnight so what I'm about
to show you is a formula for how you can obtain this financial Independence but it will take
time it will take effort on your part to get in there and to put in consistent work to put
in consistent writing into your website I'm also not here to try to sell you any courses to
try to sell you anything I just want to show you how it's done I had a lot of friends ask me yvon
how do I become financially independent how do I travel the world and I showed them this over and
over and over again and so I thought you know what it's time to make the video to show everybody how

that out of the way let's get straight into it all right so the first thing we need to do to
build a website is to get hosting and a domain think of Hosting as the land on which your house
is built on and the domain as the house which we will decorate and customize and make look all nice
and pretty you can get hosting and a domain from different providers but my favorite and the one

longer you pick the more economical it is for you so I'm going to go with a 12-month plan for now

now we're just going to go through a few fill in the blank questions before we can go in there
and actually edit the page so we want to create a brand new website we're going to click on I'll
create a website we'll click next we are going to use WordPress here and I'm going to show you how
to very easily do it with the elementer builder we're going to click next and this is where you
can enter your administrator password if you want to log in straight away into your website I don't
usually do it that way I just log in straight via hostinger so I will log into my hostinger account
and then access my page from there but I'm just going to go ahead and add another symbol and then
click next we are going to say we want to create a blank site because I'm going to show you how to
pick a nice nice theme once we get into it and then here I already have a domain that I want to
use but you do get a free domain as part of this hosting plan so you can enter a domain here and
see if it's available so let's suppose we want to make our site about plants so we can say something
like something about plants.com oops and that's an old caps so let's see if that's available
and looks like it is so let's go ahead and try to pick something else and so I've entered this
variation of the domain that I already own more about plants.com so I'm just going to show you
the process for getting a new domain and we're going to click next and frankly you don't have to
do much so if you buy domain here hostinger will take care of everything for you you really don't
need to do anything at all but I will show you where to go if you do want to transfer an existing
domain that you already own from somewhere else but before that we still have to answer a few
more questions so this is asking where your target audience is so that the website speed will
be optimal depending on where your audience is so if your audience is worldwide you can just keep
it at what it is here but it really doesn't matter too much the speed will be very fast regardless
of which server you select so we're going to click next and now it's actually going to install
WordPress and then we're going to be able to log into the WordPress account and I'm going to show
you where to go from there to be able to add the pages edit the site select the theme and all
that fun stuff so I'll see you in just a few moments and there you go so to access WordPress
all you're going to do is click on admin panel now we might be disconnected in just a few minutes
as you can see here it says the domain status that it will be available in 3 minutes so if you get
disconnected just come back to this page click on websites again select your website and click on
admin panel and at that point your website should be up and running and secure and if you want to
transfer a domain that you already have somewhere else you can just click on domains over here click
on transfer you would enter your domain here see if it's eligible and then just follow the steps
that hostinger provides very very simple to do and so what I'm going to do is just transfer my
domain moreabout plans.com with just one s over here and then that's the domain that we're going
to be using all right and so that domain should be transferred over in just a few moments but in
the meantime we could go ahead and start editing our WordPress website so I'm just going to click
on admin panel over here and we'll be redirected to our WordPress site all right so here we are
inside the WordPress dashboard it might look a little bit different for you depending on which
options you selected when you first created the WordPress site but this is generally what it will
look like for everybody and if you want to take a look and see what the site looks like let's just
right click it and take a look and here it is so give yourselves a pat on the back for building
out a site already pretty impressive now it's not the best looking site but we will make it
look very very nice and pretty don't you worry so let's head over back into WordPress there are a
few things we have to do before we start actually editing the site and the first thing you should do
is click on users over here click on all users and just make sure that the username it says here is
the one that you like so you're going to click on edit scroll down to where it says nickname and
this is what's going to show up when you write posts so if you don't want it to show your email
just write in the name that you want it to show up so for example Ivonne and then you can select
it from the drop down here scroll down click save and now whenever you write any articles
it will say your name Ivon so we can go back into all users and it should update here shortly
now you should also go into settings and go into discussion over here and this is where you can
control who can comment on your posts so if you don't want anybody to comment on your posts maybe
you're just starting out you don't want others to see it you can just click on this option over
here and that way nobody can comment on your new posts you can also scroll down and choose if you
want to be emailed when somebody posts a comment if you want to moderate comments that involve
specific words or if you want to disallow specific comments anything like that you can do so here
you can also go into peral links over here and choose how you want the post name to show up as
the post name here looks pretty good so whenever you write a post it will just follow up with the
sample post name or you could select the custom structure and just remove that last slash so it
will just say the post name without that slash at the end we're going to click on Save changes and
so that is pretty much it for the basics you can of course explore and go through the other options
but these are the most important ones so now what we have to do before we actually start editing the
site and making it look all nice and dandy we need to install some plugins so the first one we need
to install is the ele Builder because if you just go in and try to edit a WordPress post or a page
you will notice that it will be a hassle you do need a plugin this Elementor Builder that will
make it so much easier for you to build a site so we're going to click on plugins we're going to
click on add new plugin over here and we're just going to type in elementer over here click next or
enter and this is the one we want so we're going to click on install now I do have a pro version
of this that I pay for you definitely don't need it you can get by with just the free version there
are more than enough Resources with just the free version but if you do want to access the elementer
pro Builder features that I will be showing some of in this video you can get them at a discount
by going to go.
Evon mana.com elementer but once again everything I will show you here will be
free you don't need the elementer Pro Plan to access any features that I'm going to show you so
once Elementor has been installed we do need to install another plugin and that is to select our
theme so we're going to delete that and just type in starter theme and it's going to be this one
over here starter templates and we're just going to click on install now as well and a lot of the
time you will immediately be taken to that starter theme page if not then just click on appearance
over here and select starter templates and then we're going to select classic starter templates
it's important over here for you to select Elementor because you want to make sure that
the theme that you select is compatible with our Builder which is Elementor and sometimes if you
don't see anything you might just have to refresh the page it sometimes does that and now it should
show up so once again let's select Elementary over here and they have a lot of really nice themes
you can take a look just be careful where it says premium these ones you do have to pay for but the
rest of them are completely free so take a look at them look very very nice and they already as you
can see here include all the different other pages that you might need on a website like a Blog a
contact hust page things like that so you can pick anyone you like the one I really like the one I've
always been using is this one here a wonderful gift so I'm just going to click on that right over
here and then you can upload your site logo if you want so that WordPress will automatically add it
everywhere we're just going to use this logo for now and let's suppose I like a green color let's
suppose our website is again about plants and we want to sell plant related material whether it's
books whether it's actual plants so we're going to click on continue we're going to skip this step
we don't need any of those and we're also going to skip all that and now it's going to install
this theme for us so we're going to give it a few moments and then we'll be able to come in and edit
and I'll show you what that's going to look like and there you go congratulations so it only took
48 seconds to build out an amazing looking site so if we click on visit the website TDA here's
what it looks like so much much much better than this one right and it comes ready with all these
different buttons the Home Services project which I will show you how to edit and then you can come
in here you can add some blog posts so we will edit this and I will show you just how easy it
is to edit with the Elementor probuilder that we have set up all right so we can close out of that
page let's come back here and let's click on visit dashboard and before we make any edits to this
page what I would like to do is actually write just a few blog posts so that we have some content
to work with so that once we add a blog post element we will have something to work with so
what I'm going to do over here is click on posts go to all posts and this is where we're going to
write our block posts so you're free to use AI or you can just write something out I think I'm going
to use AI to write out some blog posts about plant so let me just delete that one and I'm going to
click on add new over here and I can close out of that now you could edit this with Elementor
and I'll show you what that looks like but what I'm going to do here really quickly is just go
in here and add some articles add a few block posts about plants and then we can proceed with
the editing of the site with Elementor all right and so I went ahead and added three posts this
is the last one using Chad GPT just so we can go faster and by the way I was just logged
out and that's because the website is now available so moreabout plans.com and if we refresh
this page uh you'll see it say moreabout plans.com and it is secure so connection is secure
everything is good to go we're all set all you had to do was wait about 15 minutes and it
is now ready so let me show you the block posts here let me just click on view on them just so
you see roughly what they look like so if you click over here you'll see something like this
right so just some information about plans which we will use as well to sell something to do the
affiliate marketing once we get to that part so here are those articles so just wanted to show you
and so now what we can do is actually come in here and edit and add these articles to our homepage
so the homepage is going to be under pages over here so posts is for blog posts and pages is for
these individual pages over here and by the way I don't like this transparent background I just
don't I prefer what it has a little white space up top so before we edit that what I'm going to
do is actually click on on more options and click on edit with WordPress and I'm going to show you
where to go to remove that transparent background from the back so if we go to Astra settings over
here and we go to advanced settings we want to disable this transparent header so return to post
click update and you would do the same for every single page you want to edit but now if we refresh
this page you'll see now it has this white at the top and that just looks so much better for me
personally but if you don't care you can just leave it the way it was so now we can go back we
can go back to that page and we're going to click on edit with Elementor and now we can edit this
page within Elementor and you will notice just how easy it is with the Elementor Builder and
especially with a pro Builder you guys have so so so many options that a lot of these landing
page and website Builders don't have so if you go under Pro these are all the options that you
will have available for you that would not have been available for you otherwise and I'm going
to show you some of my favorite ones that I like to use here but first I want to show you just
how to use this Builder what this is right so if you want to change any element you can just
click on it like if I want to change what it says here let's click on not now I can just click
here and I can either double click to change the text or I can change the text on the left hand
side over here I could also click the pencil icon to single out that specific element and then
adjust anything I want on the left hand side here so very very simple to do uh if you want to adjust
the button again same thing you just click on the button you make any changes here if you want to
change this section this whole entire section you can just click on it over here and let's
suppose there's too much space here at the top and at the bottom so we're going to click on Advanced
and as you can see here the padding is set to to 70 so let's half that maybe let's do 135 and 135
so we have a lot less space here at the top and at the bottom I think it looks much nicer and of
course we want to change the words right because this website is about plants so I'm just going
to double click all that and I will say something like learn about plants and over here maybe we
can say plants are amazing read on to see why something like that whatever you want to say and
then for the bun you can click here and then you can take people to a specific page if you want to
and we'll get to that once we get to the affiliate side of things but if you have an existing website
or somewhere you want to take people to you can just add it here so for example my website at Evon
mana.com which isn't applicable to plans but just as an example and then if you don't like how the
button looks if you want to change the black for example to White you can just click on style and
then for the button here it's going to be under let's look for text color which is right over here
so the default is black but we're just going to select that option here and boom make it white
so anything you want to do you can change here if you want to change the size of text you can
go to style click on typography and just change that style over here and then you can see all of
this here as well by Adam Sandler's quote so you can add a quote here you can have upcoming events
but let's suppose this is where we want to add our blogs okay so we want to say uh you know check out
our recent blogs and we want to add our blogs over here so that's where this Pro feature comes in so
let's suppose we want to remove this section over here I'm going to remove it and by the way I will
show you how to edit and adjust these menu options at the top by the end of the video as well so
let's suppose we want to add another section I'm going to click add section I'm going to click
this layout come over here and then I'm going to add a let's say a heading over here and then in
this one we're going to say check out let's say in title case check out our recent posts and then
we can go to style we can Center it and as you can see here it's a little squished at the top so
we're going to select this element we're going to go into advanced we're going to uncheck the
padding element and then we're going to add some padding from the top so let's say 135 okay that's
a little too much let's say maybe 70 I think that looks about right and then just below that we
can add our posts and by the way we've added 7 at the top let's add it at the bottom as well so
looks even out and then we can go back to add an element over here and we're going to look for
post which is a pro feature so we're going to type in posts and it's going to be right over here
we can just go ahead and drag it and because we've already added some posts we should see them show
up over here just like that and that already looks pretty nice but I think it could look much much
much nicer so let's go over some of the editing options for this so we're going to click on the
little pencil icon here and you can choose how many posts you want per page how many columns if
you want to show more columns like more posts you can do that you can choose what you want to show
so if you want to show the title I think that's important but I don't want to show for example the
uh metadata maybe I don't want to show the date I can just close out of that oops and then maybe
I want to include the author instead so I want to say Ivon no comments and then the separator
between you can change as well I suppose I want just two slashes you can do that you can change
the read more text and then here you have the excerpt length at 100 so if we want to make it
lower you can make it to limited to 50 and then if you want to edit how this actually looks like
you would go into style and then here you have all the options so you have the layout how you want it
to look how squished and squeezed in you have the alignment if you want to just Center everything or
just left align it and then you have the box you can change the Box width the Box the Border radius
so if we want to make it a little more circular we can do so I think that looks much better maybe not
that much but maybe something like let's do a nice even number let's do 25 and then let's suppose we
want to add a box Shadow around every box as well I think that looks good and I feel like now it's
too squished in so we want to change the content padding over here so we're just going to dink all
the values and then let's say from the right we want to say 20 uh maybe 20 and then 20 from the
left as well and then now as you can see it's pushed in a little bit more okay and maybe we
want to do let's say actually 30 maybe push it in a little bit more something like that and as
you can see this is why it's important to have the images the same size so that they all look the
same because otherwise you'd have one image that's much bigger than the other and it just doesn't
look as good now the other thing you can do if you want to is change the color of the text change
the color of the headline things like that so if you just go to content over here you can change
the color of anything you like so if you want to change the color of the title to red you can
do that like that but that does not look good so we're just going to go ahead and undo that and so
that is it for the post so once you have more post it's going to show up more and then once people
click on that post they will be taken to that corresponding page and then over here as you can
see actually these two are a little squished so let's go into style and let's just change that a
little bit let's add some more space go to title and just add the spacing there at the bottom so
it adds a little more space and so now it looks a little better maybe let's do 10 and so this is
how you can customize everything right so you can see that all of this is very customizable any
any any element you want to change you can do so and so that's that so you can just go in here
and just add anything else you like you can click on ADD element and you can search for whatever
you want and then you can just drag and drop it so if you want to add an image you can just
drag an image over here quite simple if you want to delete that you just rightclick this pencil
icon and click delete so that's basically how you would come in here and edit it I think it's
pretty straightforward you just add any section you like from the left hand side here but let me
show you how to edit the menu options here and how to actually come in there and edit these options
at the top so we're going to publish the page and let's quickly preview what we have so actually we
can just come in here and just refresh this page and as you can see here it already looks complete
and then if we click here we're taken to that page and I think that looks really nice I think this
looks like a very very nice website that we have already okay so let me quickly show you how to
edit these parts of the top so we're going to click on this Elemental logo we're going to exit
to WordPress and what we want to do is let's go back into Pages we'll go into Old pages and you
can edit first of all any page you want here so for example for the contact page we're going to
click on well first of all I want to remove the transparent header from the contact page so I'm
going to click on edit I'm going to go to Astra advanced settings and just disable that and click
update and then I'm going to edit with Elementor and I want to show you that cool cont contact us
um element that Elementor has so contact us that looks cool and doesn't really have anything so
here you can obviously just double click and just change any information you want to but over here
what we want to do so if you come down here and you search for form over here you can just come in
here and drag it and you can customize it as well without needing any external plugins like in that
case it was WP forms and then if you click on it you can adjust anything you want to so you can say
what you wanted to say uh you can say what label it is the email the message anything like that you
have it available here and then on if you click on actions after submit and sorry if you click on
email this is where the message is going to go to so once somebody fills in this form the email is
going to be sent to this email with this message so that's what you're going to see on your end and
then you'll be able to reply back to that customer so everything is very nice and smoothly integrated
already you don't really have to do much really simple you would just do the same thing for every
other page you want to so you go to contact us and then you can do that there the other cool thing is
that this starter templates theme if you click on it it has existing blocks that you can use so if
you go to for example your services page you can already add an existing block just like that you
can go in there and just click on import block and on your services page you'll be able to for
example add this without needing to do anything else so just like that very very simple so you
can just go through to all these other Pages the services page about page homepage if you want to
and just add it there but in this case for example we're an affiliate marketing site so projects
doesn't really apply to us Services doesn't really apply to us so let's suppose we want to
remove these so we're just going to publish the page we're going to publish these changes and
then we're going to go back to WordPress we're going to click on pages over here and then you
can edit the menu from two ways you can go to appearance and you can go to menus but what I like
to do is go to any page here so I get an actual visual view of what it would look like and then
I'm going to click on more options and let's see view here there's no customize and then we have
to click on customize here in the top left and then from here on you'll be able to edit the menu
and say whatever you want to you can remove pages or add pages so if you go to header Builder you
go to primary menu configure menu from here and it's you're going to click on edit menu and then
over here you can change or add or remove whatever you don't want so we're going to select projects
and we're going to just remove it and you'll see it should be removed automatically and then the
services we don't have Services it's an affiliate site we can remove the services over here and if
you want to add anything else you can you can just click on ADD items and then you can add whatever
page you want to so for example blog you can say add and then you will be able to send people
to your blog page so it's going to be a whole collection of these posts that you have there you
can just do that so you can click on blog or you can edit blog and then you can just add all of
these add the collection of blogs so you can do it that way if you want to edit your logo you can
just come in again over here header Builder site title and logo and you can just change it here
what I used to build out my logo for these sites is canva you guys had over to go.

they do have a very good free version you can use to build out really anything you want and I have
used the free version but then if you do decide to try their Pro features and some of the other plans
that they have then you can sign up and you should get a discount so really really simple definitely
take advantage of it if you want to build out some nice logos but the logo they have here I think is
pretty nice it's pretty solid you can adjust the width change the title here so we don't want it to
sa on- site at the top we want it to say let's say plants for life and then that's what's going to
show up at the top here and you can see right away it's been changed and we don't want that tagline
so we're going to remove it so it just says plans for life and then we're going to scroll up we're
going to go back and we're going to publish and I think it looks pretty good as it is now if you
want to also edit the footer let's go back let's go to footer over here and this doesn't look too
good so let's suppose we want this copyright on the left hand side we want the maybe some social
icons on the right hand side so I can click here and then let's say we want three columns so we
want the copyright here yeah that's fine and then we are going to put this widget over here and a
widget allows you to write whatever you want to so maybe terms of Hues disclaimer testimonial so
actually let's add a widget over here and over here let's add some social icons um they're black
here so let's let's click on edit let's click on that let's click on design and let's make the icon
colors white so you can see them with this dark background and for the add widget once we click
over here what you can do here is add any some disclaimer terms of use so you can say something
like you can add a paragraph and then you can say disclaimer terms of use and privacy policy for
example and then what you would do is you would go in and you would actually create those pages and
then you can link them so you can select that you can link and then you can say you know um www oops
too many W's you would say more about planet.com and that's SL disclaimer so you would add your
disclaimer page and then as you can see the these aren't very even they don't look too good so if
we want to make them even so we're just going to click on this one and go to design and see if we
can find something that will align it and so again we're just looking for some vertical alignment
option it could be anywhere it depends on the theme you're using but in this case it's over
here and we just want to set it to top in this case and so now you can see Chang it for that as
well but it changed the color too so let's go back in here and change the icon color back to White
not sure what happened there we'll click public and there you go right so you have your disclaimer
terms of use privacy policy of course again you would just highlight them and just create Pages
for it but that's basically it now one more thing I wanted to show you if you don't like the green
background here if you want it to be white um then you would just look for an option something to do
with a page settings so it could be under Global you could say colors and then over here it could
be the site background over here so you can just change this to let's say white and now it's white
so it looks a little nicer I think um but this is you know you would just look for the global
settings for the site and you can change it so for links for example if you don't like this
green here at the bottom then you would change it to maybe bluish which is kind of the default color
something like that so you would just change the normal and the hover effect and then when somebody
hovers over the button you'll see what it looks like right and then the normal you could just say
the normal text so the normal color of the text so if you click publish and we come over here
we refresh the page and we scroll to the bottom we'll see it's normal but then when you hover over
it it's blue right so kind of the standard I did change the colors of the links by the way just so
it stays true to the theme of the website but this is where you would change it if you want to change
the colors around so just wanted to show you that so now the question is Ivon now that everything
looks good and we have the site right here's our site plans for life it looks really good we
have the integration with all the other pages how do you actually monetize it and that's where
this affiliate marketing part comes in so in our case we're writing about plans so what we have to
do is find an affiliate Network that can offer us something to do with plans that we want to sell
so if we want to sell some actual plans or maybe we want to sell some books we need to find an
affiliate Network that allows us to do that so if we go to Google and we just type in let's say top
affiliate Network you will see a list of them here so over here if you scroll down a little bit all
of these are different affiliate networks you can use I have used ClickBank extensively in the past
and networks such as that right now I'm shifting more towards partner stack and some of the more
Evergreen companies but for you if you can't find any of your offers here Amazon Associates is a
safe bet so if you click on Amazon Associates this is an affiliate program for Amazon so any product
you sell on Amazon you will make a commission and the commission amounts vary so if you type in
Amazon Associates commission rates you'll see that they do vary but it's good to just have there
right so for Amazon games you're you're going to get 20% for plants I'm not sure which category
they fall under you can see what percentage it would be but regardless it's better than nothing
and Amazon really has anything you want so what you would do now is just click on join out for
free for Amazon Associates and then you'll be able to pull up any link you want for your articles
so I do have an Amazon Associates account so what I'm going to do is just log in and I'm going
to show you what that's going to look like inside and how you can get your link so you can use on
this actual website all right so I logged into my Amazon Associates account however you won't
actually get any links from here they did change it quite a while ago now so what you do have to do
instead is just go now to Amazon.com or amazon.ca or wherever you are and then you can find your
products there and get your link there so let's suppose in this case we want to promote some
plans I don't know anything about plans so let's just pick up some plans but over here you can see
now now that you're signed into Amazon Associates you have this bar here at the top and if you
type in for example plants I don't know what plants would be applicable let's suppose these
ones and then you can just get the link so you would click on text and then you will get a link
for this specific product and so then if you sell it you're going to get a commission and that's
just affiliate marketing at its finest and so you get the short link you get the full link here
so for a short link we can just copy it over here and then we can go back to our article so let's
go back to our post let's close out of that and let's go back into our dashboard so we can access
our posts so let's come over here and let's click on any one of these so let's say this one we can
click edit and then we could edit with Elementor where we'll have more options or we could edit it
here because it's a simple post it doesn't matter too much it's pretty straightforward either
way so for example we can click here anywhere um let's suppose over here we can click enter
let's click enter again so we enter a new block and then here we can say um want to get your own
what type of plant is this let's say D Rose what to get your own D Rose plan I mean obviously
you would you would check to make sure that it actually makes sense but this is just an example
you can get your link you can get your own plan by clicking here for example and then what you
would do is just you would uh maybe select that click here and then just enter that URL and
submit that page and then now when somebody goes to this post and clicks here they'll
be redirected to this page and if they buy you will make a commission now that said it
is important if you're promoting from Amazon you do need to use the Amazon disclaimer so
you would type it Amazon disclaimer on Google and just find any of the available templates you
would have to add it to your site so it could be something like this you can just copy that you can
just come in here and just at the bottom of the post you can just add that say here so what's the
site name it's more about plants participates in the Amazon Services something like that so just
do your research but for Amazon they do require that you do have a disclaimer on your site because
otherwise you won't get a commission now it is a good practice to include a disclaimer when you're
doing this affiliate marketing however Amazon is really the strictest one when it comes to this
other sites aren't as strict so you could get away for specific affiliate networks without
having this disclaimer again read the read the terms and conditions because it will vary
affiliate Network to affiliate network but for Amazon they are pretty strict on this so if you
are promoting via Amazon just make sure you have this on every block post and so you can have that
if you want to sell anything else let's say plans book um let's say Encyclopedia of herbal medicine
or maybe house plant Journal so we're just going to click here and once again we're going to get
the text link and we're going to copy it I'm just going to contrl + C let's come back here to our
post and then at the end for example we can click enter and we can say do you want to learn more
more about plants check out this encyclopedia from Amazon that has everything you need to know and
then again you can just select it highlight it and link it and that's it right so that's affiliate
marketing at its finest guys this is how you do it so now if you go back to the post let's refresh uh
which one was it this one if we click here and we scroll down we see this so that if you say click
here to get your plant they're redirected to this page if you go back and you click here you will
be taken to this page right and then you will make a commission and Amazon has a really cool program
where if somebody doesn't buy right away but they buy anything from Amazon within 30 days or so
after clicking on your link so it doesn't even have to do with plans you will get a commission so
Amazon is pretty flexible and is a good affiliate Network for many reasons one of being that one now
what you could also do is when you click edit here you can open this in a new tab so that it doesn't
just close the current tab you're on so if we hit refresh and we just scroll down and click over
here now we'll be taken to a new tab and that is how you do affiliate marketing so it could be
Amazon it could be any other program could be ClickBank partner stack any of the ones mentioned
above and that's what you would basically do you would get an affiliate link you would write an
article relevant to whatever it is you're saying and then you would include your content as a by
the way so that is about it for how to build an affiliate marketing website but now the question
is well Ivonne what do I write about how do I know what to write about and how can I actually
optimize my website for SEO so that's what I'm going to cover here next so let's go back into
dashboard so the first thing I'm going to show you is how to do some keyword research so you can
actually find what are some good topics that you can write about so there are two websites I'm
going to show you now One is paid and another one is completely free for keyword research so
the paid one is sem Rush that's what we're going to use here and this one does have a few free
searches per day so you can use that but then after that you do have to pay so for example you
can enter a domain so let's look up some um plans website um let's say for example I don't know
bloomscape let's take a look at this and see what keywords are trending so we can come in here we
can copy this site come in here and we can click Start now and we can get some information about
the site okay so I will log in I do have a free account and so now it's going to show us I believe
you get about three searches per day for free with this and it's not even complete just a few but
gives you an idea and so over here if you go to top organic keywords you will get an idea for what
people are typing in to land on that page so these are some potential topics that you can write about
so if you click on view details you will also see some information about the competitiveness of
those keywords so over here you see the volume you see the keyword score so this shows how difficult
it would be to rank so the higher it is if it's red it's going to be very very difficult to rank
the lower it is the easier it is to rank so as you can see here you get about 10 searches with this
plan for the rest you do have to pay for but if you sort by this you would be able to sort by the
easiest ones so out of these the easiest one is this one for example Calia Coture purple so this
one has let's look at the volume 74,000 searches per month which is a lot this is the percentage
of traffic going to this website so about 1% of total traffic goes for this keyword and then this
is the amount of traffic going to this specific website for this keyword so this is how you
can gain some information so kathia cure purple seems like a good article to write about so let's
take a look at what that is Calia cter CIA cter purple so maybe you can write some articles about
top five reasons for why to have it or what this can do for you or something like that but this
just gives you an idea and then you can come back and you can add another website so let's say for
example um maybe this one so we can come in here and we're just going to copy that site we're going
to come back here we're going to add it right there we're going to click search and we're going
to do the same thing so we're going to take a look and see what are some of the organic searches
so we're looking at organic research right now so these are the some of the top positions
for this site so this one for example 25 it's green peppercorn plant this could be a good good
article to write about something about the pepper corn plant it doesn't have a lot of competition it
has 8.1 searches per month and 2,000 searches to this site specifically so really really cool and
that's how you could go go about it so just take a look and see what your competitors are doing
and what their keywords are and kind of take some of their traffic in the best way possible and so
this sem Rush is a great fantastic tool for this organic search results but if you want something
completely free then I do recommend the Google ads Keyword Planner so if you just type in ads.
goole.com you can create an account if you don't have one already I'm just going to sign in it's
a pretty simple process you don't actually need to have any campaigns for this but I'm going to
sign in just to show you how to use the Keyword Planner that they have so you can get some ideas
and some research for how much volume there is for specific keywords all right so here I am inside my
Google ads account so we're just going to click on tools over here and go to Keyword Planner right
over there and click on discover new keywords so we're going to change the location first we're
going to also include some other countries such as United States click include click save and you
could either enter a URL or the keyword so if you want to start with a website you can click over
here and just select that and say get results and then see what comes up and we're going to
click on get results again and here we get some suggestions so plants online buy plants online so
the difficulty with this Keyword Planner is that it doesn't show you the organic competition this
is just for paid ads but it could still give you a good idea for how many searches there are and
how much competition there is even for paid ads because paid and organic searches are the same
in terms of people are typing something in right so you will be able to still get an idea for what
people are typing in so plans for sale for example here it says there's High competition the keyword
clicks are pretty expensive it can be up to $3 per click right so you can come in here and sort by
maybe low competition so let's go let's look for low let's set it to 500 and then for example low
so fodies lodges plans so you also want to look at average monthly searches because if the searches
are low then there's no point because nobody's even searching for it right so you want to find
it in between something that has low competition but also something that has some monthly searches
I'd say anything over 100 is a good start because if it has no competition and you get those 100
searches per month that is really really good and then of course it's going to add up so one
post one keyword 100 another keyword that's 200 another keyword 300 so on so forth so these aren't
applicable these are about the hours of the store so again you want to go through go through go
through look for something applicable uh discount code not applicable just go through the list let's
see so that's why this planner is free it's not detailed it's not as specific as sem rush but
again it is free so something you could use so for example plants shop has medium um let's say
Tropical Greenhouse near me let's say tropical plants CT so I believe that's Connecticut maybe
doesn't have a lot of search but for example you could write something about tropical plants in
Connecticut maybe Tropical Greenhouse you could write top three facts about Tropical Greenhouse
or something like that as you can see it hascal competition and it's growing over here as well
you can see the search for it has been going up so that's how you would do it um house let's let's
move this a little bit house plant greenhouse near me free house plant catalog so maybe you could
add a catalog of house plants in your blog post something like that so this is where you would
get these ideas and then you would just come in and write articles about that about that specific
topic now how do you actually optimize it for SEO that's the other question so let's go back let me
show you a cool plugin you can download to help you with that so if you go to plugin go to add new
plugin over here and the one I personally use is Yost SEO we're going to click next and this is the
one I use because it guides you into writing your article that will be compliant with SEO compliant
with Google and just give you the best chances of being seen overall so now it's installed we just
have to activate it and then I'm going to show you how to actually use it so now it's activated so we
can go back into our posts click on all posts and we can edit any of these so let's edit this one
for example and then let me show you what that's going to look like because now it's integrated
within your so over here on the right hand side you see that the readability needs Improvement
and the SEO analysis needs Improvement but how well that's how you can scroll down here to the
bottom and they will give you suggestions so if you click on SEO analysis they will tell you
well first of all there's no internal links so add some internal links to other block posts that
you have there's no Focus keyword there's no meta description so we need to turn this from red to
green and that's how we're going to optimize this post as much as we can for SEO so for this post
for example let's suppose our keyword is diversity of plant types so we can come in here we can add
that here and now we change to Orange because at least we have the focus keyword and then we
want to add a meta description so we can say something like let's scroll up maybe let's copy
this part here scroll down again and we'll say haveit our planet and then we want to include
this keyword so diversity of plants this post covers the diversity of plants because they and
then we say because they are incredibly diverse organisms that inhabit nearly every corner of our
website right and so you can just keep going right this is how it gets better and better so we we're
going to add some internal links uh the keyword Sy does not appear in the first paragraph So
we want to come in here and then we want to say actually the same thing right so we can say
that diversity of plants is quite interesting because plants are incredibly so something like
that let's scroll down and see what that looks like so uh now that part disappeared but the key
phrase was found zero times so now we're going to go through our post and add that keyword so A
diversity of uh plant types for example right and you would basically just keep using this to update
it and to keep improving your post until it's as optimal as possible that's what I use and then for
readability you can do the same thing you can just come in here and say okay 177% of the sentences
contain passive voice uh you need a maximum of 10 so you can see what it is so you can just
click here and then it'll show you where those sentences are and that's how you improve it right
so in this video I showed you how to not only make this affiliate marketing website how to integrate
it and how to uh ize it but also how to optimize it for SEO as well using this plugin and here is
what our site looks like let's look at the final version of what we created but you would just
go in there of course and change anything else you like and that is it and if somebody clicks
here for example read more again they'll see these links they can click on they can buy and you
will make a commission and now you also know what to write about using these Keyword Planner tools
like sem rush and the Google ads keyword planner and that is all for this video I hope you guys
